What is SMART Project?

SMART Project is an educational developmental project that provides psychosocial, rehabilitative and educational support to Yemeni students and addresses the psychological and moral effects of war within the framework of the Community Empowerment Project for Youth so that they may have a prominent role in building their homeland and actively participate in taking decisions and treat the after-effects of war on individuals, families and society.

SMART is a project that serves Yemeni people and establishes the future path of progress and development in the homeland.

What is TARGET AUDIENCE?

SMART Project targets the Yemeni youth especially students.

What is SMART PROGRAMMES

Psychological Support and Rehabilitation Program:

The program provides psychosocial treatment for children, victims of wars and crises and provides psychological support and immunization to all those targeted to protect them from the dangers of negative thoughts and practices so that they may reject extremism, terrorism, strife and disruption.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME

The educational program seeks to improve the behaviour of the target audience and promote the concept of lofty values, and instil them in a correct and favourable manner for students according to their age group through modern and innovative educational programs.

The educational programme will provide them with lofty values and the skills of dealing with themselves and others as well as with all those who are around them so that they may contribute to the building of the nation.

Development Programme

The unit aims to develop and improve the skills of the target audience in different fields, notably:

• English language
• Use of computer and the internet
• Making the leaders of the future
• Crafts

TALENT INVESTMENT PROGRAMME

The programme aims to conduct a variety of courses, activities and events to invest the talents of the target audience; support and develop them and contribute to polishing them properly and involve other organizations at home and abroad. These activities will include:

• Computer Arts
• Crafts
• Singing
• Drawing
• Sports
• Others
